The first Fast & Furious 9 trailer appeared before Super Bowl Sunday and gave fans a glimpse of Vin Diesel, Michelle Rodriguez, Tyrese Gibson and the rest of the Furious crew in the final chapters of the Fast Saga.
A tenth sequel is planned for 2021. Fast & Furious 9 is the “beginning of the end” for the (very) long-standing action franchise. What started as a small film about street racers and undercover police officers has become one of the largest action film series of all time. Spin-offs and other related projects are imminent – including a possible continuation of Hobbs & Shaw with Dwayne Johnson and Jason Statham – but these two films could be the last time Diesel and Co. are shown. in action.

In addition to Diesel, Rodriguez and Gibson, Chris "Ludacris" Bridges, Jordana Brewster, Nathalie Emmanuel, Helen Mirren and Charlize Theron as well as newcomers such as John Cena and Guardians of the Galaxy star Michael Rooker can be seen. Brewster is back in the franchise for the first time since Furious 7 in 2015, which she’s been very excited about before.
"It makes me really happy to come back," said Brewster. "I was pretty amazed not to have been part of the last one. I felt like I was missing out because they are family. I adore Vin (Diesel) and Michelle (Rodriguez). We've been part of each other's lives for so long and I'm so happy to be back in the group. I can't wait to read the next chapter. We have the best fans in the world and it's very cool that the series was introduced to new generations – and we have die-hard fans who have been there from the start. "
Fast & Furious 9 is scheduled for release on May 22, 2020.
